Writing testing scenarios requires specific expertise, deriving from the need to create a complex clinical scenario that adheres to the psychometric parameters of consistency, authenticity and fairness. The scenarios must cover all the content material for the test, conform to the necessary time-frame, and reflect the required level of difficulty. At MSR, we hold seminars to train writing of testing scenarios using actors or simulators. The workshops include an introduction to successful scenario writing and testing techniques, practical experience in writing different parts of a scenario, and checking existing scenarios. The workshops are intended for testers in the different healthcare professions responsible for developing tests in their organizations.
