Medical School Candidates Screening

In collaboration with the National Institute for Testing and Evaluation (NITE), MSR provides simulation-based humanistic screening of medical school candidates.

Recognizing the limitations of previous standardized tests in selecting those candidates with better humanistic and communication skills, this process serves as a supplement to the previous methods of assessment.  This innovative program highlights those that demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and capacity for compassion in an effort to improve the selection of the physicians of tomorrow.

The schools using humanistic screening as part of their assessment are:

• The Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University
• The Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion, Haifa
• The Bar Ilan University's Faculty of Medicine in the Galilee
• The Hebrew University's Faculty of Medicine
• The Adelson pre-med program
