Target Audience
The course is intended for surgeons with experience in hysteroscopic techniques (diagnostic and surgical).
Course Objectives
To familiarize participants with the equipment and techniques used in hysteroscopic diagnostics and treatment. The course emphasizes dysfunctional uterine bleeding, new hysteroscopy techniques (particularly using fiberoptics and bi-polar energy), non-hysteroscopic techniques for ablation of the uterine wall, and risk-reduction and risk-management approaches.
Course Description
The course is offered in collaboration with Dr. Keith Isaacson, an international expert in gynecological endoscopy, who leads endoscopy courses throughout the United States. Dr. Isaacson serves as Chairman of the AAGL, and is a professor at Harvard Medical School.
