This course is intended for interns and specialists with basic experience performing laparoscopic surgery.

Course Objectives

To gain further knowledge and practical experience in laparoscopy.

Course Description

The one-day course includes:

• Pre-course review of presentations on anatomy, safe access to the stomach, spatial orientation, and proper use of equipment, using MSR’s remote-learning “Moodle” system.
• Individually guided simulation training to gain required clinical skills and reduce risks during laparoscopic surgery.

The entire day at MSR is devoted to training and practice on simulators.
